Math Class Creates Math-Themed Children's Books & Shares Them with Elementary Students
On March 12th, FDR students from Ms. Parker's Algebra 2 honors class visited all of the Hyde Park elementary schools to read books to the upper-level grades. For the past month, these students have been working on creating their own math-themed children's books. This field trip offered them the chance to share their final products with the younger children and inspire the elementary students to strive to do well in their math classes. It was a positive experience for all the students involved!
