2026-2027 Budget Vote and Board Member Election

The annual budget vote and board member election will be held on May 19, 2026 at Haviland Middle School, 23 Haviland Road, Hyde Park.  The polls will be open from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm.

BOARD MEMBER ELECTION

There will be 2 seats open due to term expirations.  Edward Spence's, Michael Tibbetts' terms end on 6/30/26.  New Board Member petition packets were available from 3/12/26 until 4/20/26 and required 45 Hyde Park CSD resident signatures.   Elected candidates term will be July 1, 2026 until June 30, 2029.

Three (3) Board Candidate Petitions were received:

Cheryl Frazier-Woods,  Edward Spence  and  Michael Tibbetts

will be listed on the ballot at the May 19, 2026 Vote.

VOTER QUALIFICATIONS

A qualified voter is a United States citizen, 18 years of age or older, a permanent resident within the District for a period of thirty (30) days immediately prior to the vote and per HPCSD Policy 2120.2 “Qualified voters must either be registered with the school district’s board of registration, or be on a current voter list maintained by the local Board of Elections.”
