This has been a tough game to think about. Once again we managed to control possession of the ball within the attacking third of the field for about 75 minutes of the game and only walked away with 2 goals and our first loss. The effort was obviously there but the execution was not. There should be no reason to not be able to defend a corner kick within the last 5 minutes of the game. There should also be no reason to not defend a throw-in that lands on the top of the six in OT. Now I know that we were at a disadvantage without having Darling for half of the game and I know the ref missed a handball in the box, along with many other calls but how could we let this game slip away. Maybe I did not prepare you enough in practice to win this game. Perhaps the pressure to win is starting to become to hard to handle. I have never been so frustrated with a loss in my entire career as a coach. I need time to process this loss........ Back to the drawing board for me. We'll regroup Saturday morning.
