Coaches Notes:  Good start of the season.  Our pre-game was a bit unorganized and sloppy but you guys played great.  Best part of today was to see everyone on the team contribute quality minutes.  Some guys made the most of their minutes and will see more come their way in the next few games.  We need to polish up our pre-game moving forward and continue to get quality minutes from guys coming off the bench.

Franklin D. Roosevelt 6, New Paltz 0 — Pat Noonan scored one goal before halftime and assisted on two more, leading Hyde Park's Presidents to a Mid-Hudson Athletic League win.

Yuri Wajda scored to make it 1-0 midway through the first period.

Goals by Ian Pavlak, Matt Koziol and Pagano gave the Presidents a 4-0 lead at halftime.

Mike Pagano and Pavlak scored Roosevelt's final goals.

Goalkeeper Peter Knight came away with the shutout.

The Presidents travel to Marlboro on Friday.
