Kingston was a very physically strong and aggressive soccer team that was filled with juniors. Even though we suffered our 1st loss of the season I was really proud of the boys because they fought really hard, especially in the second half. Late in the game it became very aggressive and physical and there was a lot of trash talking amongst the players. When calls from the officials went against us or we did not get calls that we felt we should get we played through it. We kept our heads and focused on trying to win the game. We were not intimidated by their aggressive play. We continued to play hard and we never lost our heads. Thanks to the parents who attended for their support. As for the X's and O's of the game I thought that having played some weaker teams as of late we not as mentally or physically quick. Also with the departure of 2 of our players to the varsity we had to move players around into positions we were not use to playing. Since it was a non-league game it was a good time to get the boys accumstomed to their new positions. Again excellent job to the boys for their hard work.
