Once again the polls, located at Haviland Middle School Gymnasium, will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 pm with the Annual BOE meeting following the vote.Who Does NOT have to register to vote:
Who DOES need to register to vote:
- Anyone who registered to vote with the Dutchess County Board of Elections and/or the Hyde Park Central School District AND has voted in a school district, primary, or presidential vote within the past four (4) years.
- Qualified voters who have NOT registered with the Board of Elections or the School District.
- Qualified voters who have NOT voted within in a primary, presidential, or school district vote within the past four (4) years.
- NEW Law allows students to register to vote when they turn 16 years old. Sutdents who have registered and turn 18 by the day of the vote may participate in this vote/election.
To register to vote electronically go to http://dmv.ny.gov/more-info/electronic-voter-registration-application or to print out a voter registration form go to Dutchess County Board of Elections at http://www.dutchesselections.com/Forms/voteform.pdf and mail your registration to the Dutchess County Board of Elections.
Last Call for Voter Registration: The Hyde Park Central School District will hold voter registration on Monday, May 11, 2020 between the hours of 4 pm and 8 pm at the administration office, 11 Boice Road. This is the last day to register to vote in this year's vote.

This year, two (2) seats are up for election.
The District Clerk has application packets available to be picked up at the District Office, 11 Boice Road, Hyde Park, NY 12538, M-F between 8:00 and 4:00 unless there is a holiday* or closing. Board Member Application packets contain everything you need to run for an open board seat, including signature pages and expenditure statements.
IMPORTANT DEADLINE: Signature Pages and candidate information must be received by the District Clerk at the District Office (see above) with 36 signatures and addresses of qualified voters (no POs) no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2020. If you have any questions about running for the Board of Education, please contact the District Clerk or speak to any of our current Board members.
